SIM Founder’s Day

In 1893, three young men were compelled by a heartfelt desire to see the 60 million people of sub-Saharan Africa who were living and dying without Jesus come to know Him as their Lord and Saviour. Their vision was to evangelize the 60 million least-reached people of sub-Saharan Africa.

Now, 132 years later, their vision has reached more than 90 countries with 4000 workers striving to share Jesus in communities where He is least known.

• Sharing from the field: Mat serves in a land where endless blue skies stretch across sweeping grasslands, where nomadic families still journey with the seasons. It is a nation rich in hospitality yet facing spiritual, social, and economic challenges that often remain unseen by the world.
