2025 Spiritual Life Retreat - SIM INDONESIA SIM 印尼办公室退修会

SIM Indonesia held its annual SLR from 22-24 July at Yogyakarta, also popularly known as Jogja, the former capital city of Indonesia and also, the only city still ruled by its monarchy and which holds and celebrates the rich cultural heritage particularly the Javanese culture, and arts and crafts.
SIM 印尼办公室于7月22日至24日在日惹举行了退修会。日惹是印尼的前首都，也是目前仍由皇室统治的唯一城市，以其丰富的爪哇文化以及艺术与工艺而闻名。

This year we had 11 participants along with the youngest participant, 3 and half years old KK and our speakers Watson, the Regional Director of SIM East Asia, and his wife Viji. Marthen, the director of SIM Indonesia introduced the theme “Spirituality and Service” on the first night and committed the SLR with a prayer.
今年共有11位参与者，最年轻的是年仅三岁半的KK。讲员包括 SIM 东亚区总主任华生及其夫人维佳雅。SIM 印尼主任 Marthen 在首晚介绍了聚会主题“灵性与服事”，并以祷告正式展开此次聚会。

We started our day’s activity with worship led by our mission workers, brother T and sister Alda on the 23rd and 24th respectively. Then, we were led into meaningful devotion by Viji on both mornings. Our main sessions were taken by Watson who spoke on the theme, specifically on Spiritual Characters and Mission on the 23rd and Maintaining Spirituality and Mission on the 24th. We had exciting learning and productive sessions and also soul-searching opportunities which all the participants loved. During the night worship we also took time to listen to each other’s stories and about the joys and struggles in ministries and spent time praying for each other.
7月23日至24日，我们以敬拜开始新的一天，由宣教同工 T 弟兄和 A 姐妹带领。接着由维佳雅带领早晨灵修，深入且充满启发。华生则主讲主课，于23日分享“灵性品格与宣教”，24日探讨“维持灵命与宣教”。每一堂课不仅内容充实，也带来属灵的反思和成长，令所有参与者深受鼓舞。

On the whole, it had been a wonderful experience of spiritual rejuvenation but also with lots of fun, food and laughter. And we said our goodbyes on the 25th July, 2025.
晚间敬拜时，我们也分享彼此的生命故事，述说事奉的喜乐与挑战，并为彼此祷告加油。整个退修会充满属灵更新，也有美食、欢笑与趣味，是一段难忘的经历。我们于7月25日依依不舍地道别。
